Inspirational (and Other) Quotes

Thank you, Michele Hall, for inspiring me to compile this next post. This one will sandwich quotes from leaders throughout history with hopefully funny quotes from various other sources. I think we could all use a bit of inspiration and a laugh or two nowadays.

And away we go!

“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing." - Theodore Roosevelt

“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Don’t teach a man to fish and feed yourself. He’s a grown man, and fishing is not that hard." - Ron Swanson

“You ate a whole wheel of cheese?!?! I’m not even angry. I’m actually impressed” - Ron Burgundy (of Anchorman fame) to his best friend Baxter

“there is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within. Everything exists. Seek nothing outside of yourself...” - Miyamoto Musashi (Samurai and author of The Book of Five Rings)

And thus, my friends we come to the end my post on the famous quotes of several (very) different individuals. My hope with this post was to provide a bit of levity and a smidge of historical insight. I think that we should always remain thoughtful but also always be willing to laugh.

As always just my opinion!

Thanks everyone and stay safe!
