Mary and Jeff Bell Library

Marketing/User Engagement

The User Engagement Department coordinates library marketing, promotional opportunities and guides the communication of library resources and services within the Island community. The User Engagement staff seeks active collaboration with students, faculty and staff (and other units on campus) to make the library a vital part of everyone’s campus experience.

We encourage the library’s participation in university events, community events, and other activities that promote the library and benefit the university and our community (both on and off campus.) We coordinate the schedule of displays and exhibitions in the library, from BFA and MFA shows to celebrations and community awareness events. We also assist in producing publications distributed to the public, such as brochures, newsletters and the Faculty Publications Bibliography.

We manage the library’s social media channels and communicate through the stories we post on the library’s homepage. We would like to encourage an open conversation about what we can do to help you love your Island Library!
